The Volantex Trainstar Mini is a compact and easy-to-fly RC plane that’s perfect for beginners and casual pilots alike. Equipped with a built-in gyro stabiliser system featuring auto-level functionality, the Trainstar Mini delivers smooth and stable flight performance for pilots of all abilities. The gyro continuously adjusts the control surfaces during flight to help maintain stability and prevent accidental flips, rolls or inversions. With three selectable flight modes: beginner (full assistance), intermediate (partial assistance), and expert (gyro off - full manual control) - pilots can gradually build confidence and improve their flying skills over time!

Everything comes pre-assembled straight out of the box, with the foam components glued and pushrods already connected for quick and easy setup. Simply install 4x AA batteries into the transmitter, clip the landing gear into place, charge the included 1S flight battery, and you’re ready to fly. This ready-to-fly setup makes it especially beginner friendly and ideal for first-time RC pilots.

The Trainstar Mini’s lightweight foam construction helps reduce damage in the event of a bump or hard landing, while the included spare propeller adds extra peace of mind. To avoid damaging the battery, never fully discharge it and always disconnect it from the RC model when not in use. Leaving it connected can slowly drain the battery below safe levels.

Most of our items take between 45 mins to 2 hours to charge, but it varies on the size of the battery and speed of the charger.

It depends on the model. Some of our aircrafts are water-resistant and can get slightly wet. Others are not water-resistant and should be kept away from water.

Yes, most of our aircrafts can be used at the same time without interference, as they run on 2.4GHz. However - please check the item description for details.

Brushed motors are great for beginners - they’re affordable and simple. Brushless motors are more powerful, efficient, and offer better speed and durability, making them ideal for experienced pilots.

Planes and helicopters may need some simple assembly. All models come fully RTR including remote, battery, and charger unless otherwise stated!

Many of our planes and helicopters are beginner-friendly, but some are better for advanced pilots. To help, we’ve added a recommended skill level on the product page!

Most of our RC models are suitable for ages 8 and up, depending on the model. Simpler models with lower speeds are great for kids, while high-speed or brushless models are better for teens and adults.

With adult supervision this can be stretched younger, but we'd always recommend parents consider all factors such as their child's ability and safety.
