Description

Blue anodised, oil-filled aluminium shocks provide cornering control, while the front suspension system is shared with other FTX models like the Carnage and Bugsta. This includes fully adjustable settings, universal driveshafts, turnbuckles, and a heavy-duty metal-geared differential. The central chassis houses the sealed shaft drivetrain, steering servo, motor, and receiver box for robust performance.

The rear trailing arm suspension, which allows for extensive wheel travel, sets the Outlaw apart from other FTX buggies. Its long-travel setup mirrors full-size U4 buggies designed to tackle tough desert terrain. With a telescopic sliding driveshaft delivering power to the rear axle and multi-position shock mounts, the Outlaw is built to handle rough ground with its super-soft all-terrain tyres.

FTX has equipped the Outlaw with a brushless system by Etronix, featuring a waterproof 60A Photon 2.1W speed control and a 2950kv 4-pole motor. Paired with a Voltz 3250mAh LiPo battery, this setup provides plenty of power to unleash the buggy’s full potential.

The Outlaw’s long-reach aluminium oil-filled shocks are fully adjustable, with multiple mounting points allowing you to fine-tune the suspension for various terrains. Combined with an Etronix radio, waterproof servo, and a powerful 550 brushed motor, the Outlaw U4 is more than ready for any challenge thrown its way.

Yes — many of our RC cars are Ready-To-Run (RTR) and designed to be beginner-friendly. Just charge the battery, install the AA batteries in the remote, and you're good to go.

No assembly required! Our RTR kits include the car, remote, battery, and charger unless otherwise stated.

Most of our RC models are suitable for ages 8 and up, depending on the model. Simpler models with lower speeds are great for kids, while high-speed or brushless models are better for teens and adults.

With adult supervision this can be stretched younger, but we'd always recommend parents consider all factors such as their child's ability and safety.

Absolutely. We sell spares for nearly all models, check the product page for information on compatible batteries. Some entry-level models have an integrated battery that cannot be changed.

Usually, yes. Each electronic product page lists what's included. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to buy one separately

To avoid damaging the battery, never fully discharge it and always disconnect it from the RC model when not in use. Leaving it connected can slowly drain the battery below safe levels.

Most of our items take between 45 mins to 2 hours to charge, but it varies on the size of the battery and speed of the charger.

It depends on the model. Most of our cars are splash-proof and can get slightly wet. Others are water-proof and can be driven through puddles etc.

Usually brushed models can reach of speed between 10-20mph, where-as brushless often range between 25mph-50mph.

Brushed motors are great for beginners — they’re affordable and simple. Brushless motors are more powerful, efficient, and offer better speed and durability, making them ideal for experienced users.
