The Absima 1:18 Sand Buggy "Thunder" is a compact yet powerful RC off-roader, measuring just 255 × 180 × 110 mm and weighing around 616 g with the battery. It features a 380-class brushed motor paired with a 30 A electronic speed controller and twin ball-bearing pinion differentials, delivering impressive performance capable of hitting speeds above 35 km/h. Its fully-covered chassis and splash-resistant electronics let you confidently tackle grass, gravel, or wet driveways, all controlled through a responsive 2.4 GHz radio system with around 60 m range and proportional steering with a generous 30° turn.

 A safe 2.4 GHz remote control system supports the 30A electronic speed controller to release the power at your command. Small, fine, and mean! Take the first step into the world of RC model sport with this ready-to-run set.

Yes — many of our RC cars are Ready-To-Run (RTR) and designed to be beginner-friendly. Just charge the battery, install the AA batteries in the remote, and you're good to go.

No assembly required! Our RTR kits include the car, remote, battery, and charger unless otherwise stated.

Most of our RC cars are suitable for ages 8 and up, depending on the model. Simpler models with lower speeds are great for kids, while high-speed or brushless models are better for teens and adults.

With adult supervision this can be stretched younger, but we'd always recommend parents consider all factors such as their childs ability and safety.

Absolutely. We sell spares for nearly all models, check the product page for information on compatible batteries. Some entry-level models have an integrated battery that cannot be changed.

It depends on the model. Most of our cars are splash-proof and can get slightly wet. Others are water-proof and can be driven through puddles etc.
