Description

Hit the rough stuff in style with the FTX Mauler 2.0. This frame chassis rock crawler is the ideal choice for tackling rocky, harsh off-road terrain. Based on a full-size frame buggy, the Mauler features a moulded nylon roll cage with body panels and a two-seat interior just like the real thing. Access is simple to chassis internals via the front-hinged mount.

Updated now with the Etronix 4ch radio and System 3 waterproof ESC/ RX/LED intelligent light smart controller providing a wide array of different lighting options, along with plug-in bumper lights there is plenty of options for additional lights. Combined with the 4WD locked transmission and high torque gearing the combination provides super slow control when climbing or descending steep inclines.

Tall 2.2”, high profile, super-size, and super-soft all terrain block tyres with memory foam provide fantastic trac­tion and drive on the most testing of rocky surfaces.

Now updated to an Etronix 15kg waterproof metal geared servo, the Mauler can navigate the harshest of terrain. The heavy-duty steel multi-link suspension provides exceptional articu­lation, which can be finely tuned via a series of mounting positions for the shock absorbers, links and chassis plates providing a multitude of angles and different wheelbases. Even battery and speed control can be relocated front or rear for custom tuning.

Yes — many of our RC cars are Ready-To-Run (RTR) and designed to be beginner-friendly. Just charge the battery, install the AA batteries in the remote, and you're good to go.

No assembly required! Our RTR kits include the car, remote, battery, and charger unless otherwise stated.

Most of our RC models are suitable for ages 8 and up, depending on the model. Simpler models with lower speeds are great for kids, while high-speed or brushless models are better for teens and adults.

With adult supervision this can be stretched younger, but we'd always recommend parents consider all factors such as their child's ability and safety.

Absolutely. We sell spares for nearly all models, check the product page for information on compatible batteries. Some entry-level models have an integrated battery that cannot be changed.

Usually, yes. Each electronic product page lists what's included. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to buy one separately

To avoid damaging the battery, never fully discharge it and always disconnect it from the RC model when not in use. Leaving it connected can slowly drain the battery below safe levels.

Most of our items take between 45 mins to 2 hours to charge, but it varies on the size of the battery and speed of the charger.

It depends on the model. Most of our cars are splash-proof and can get slightly wet. Others are water-proof and can be driven through puddles etc.

Yes, most of our cars can be used at the same time without interference, as they run on 2.4GHz. However, there are a few exceptions - please check the item description for details.

Usually brushed models can reach of speed between 10-20mph, where-as brushless often range between 25mph-50mph.

Brushed motors are great for beginners — they’re affordable and simple. Brushless motors are more powerful, efficient, and offer better speed and durability, making them ideal for experienced users.
