Returns

We're committed to selling high-quality products we hope you'll enjoy using but we also know that, for one reason or another, there may be a time when you need to exchange or return something you have bought. Please make sure that you check your items carefully before you open them and before they are used or installed.

Should you need to return your product for any reason, you must provide proof of purchase such as your order ID or purchase receipt. 

Please do not return goods to us without first acquiring an RMA number. 

We apologise but our warehouse does not accept hand delivered returns and therefore if you do attempt this you will be turned away and instructed to contact us via the contact form and to follow our standard returns process/policy. 

If you change your mind

RC Geeks are happy to accept product returns for up to 30 days after delivery. To be eligible 

for this, products must be in;

  • New, 
  • Unused 
  • Unopened condition.

Your refund will be issued within 21 working days. Posting your item back to us will need to be funded by yourself, we will not issue reimbursement for this. 

 

Faulty products

If your item has arrived damaged, please contact us immediately via our contact form and do not use your product as this will invalidate your warranty. This means we will not be able to issue you with a refund, replacement or repair. 

If you believe your item has developed a fault, please use the contact form to get in touch. Once returned, we will require up to 21 working days to fully test and potentially repair the product. If the item is unrepairable and still under warranty, we will arrange a replacement for you.

 

Warranty repairs & replacements

All items bought from RC Geeks (except perishable goods and accessories) include a 12 month manufacturers warranty that begins from the day you take ownership of the goods. The manufacturer's warranty covers any malfunctions or faults that may develop. It does not cover accidental damage such as crash, water damage or lack of maintenance. We work closely with our network of manufacturers to carry out the warranty process as efficiently as possible. Please note that we will always try to repair faulty items before replacing them if 30 days have passed since you received the goods.

Accidental damage and poor maintenance

Many of our products are hobby grade and we do not recommend children use them unsupervised. They are powerful products and if they come into contact with objects at fast speeds or at an unfortunate angle, they will become damaged. This damage is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. 

Many products also require in depth and regular maintenance in order to keep them functioning at their best. We recommend you always read the entirety of the manual to ensure you fully understand your product. If the correct maintenance is not carried out, this can cause irreparable damage to your product and this damage will not be covered under the warranty. 

Chargeable repairs

If our team of engineers conclude that a fault has developed due to improper care, misuse, or accidental damage, then the repair will not be covered by the warranty. Repairs are charged at £30.00 per hour, plus the cost of any replacement parts that are required. Please note that if no fault is subsequently found with the item, a £15.00 fee will apply.

Modifications and alterations

Please be aware that alterations made to a product from its original sale condition may invalidate your warranty. Modifications made to products and any faults that may occur as a result are the sole responsibility of the user. e-Gift Cards

All e-Gift card sales are final and no returns will be accepted. 

Terms and Conditions: 

  • All gift card sales are final. Please ensure you check your purchase carefully. 
  • Gift cards have no physical monetary value.
  • Gift cards will expire one year from date of purchase and cannot be extended.
  • Gift cards cannot be sold on to a third party.
  • No refunds will be issued and they cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • If you have paid via a gift card but need to return your product for a refund, this will be issued on a new gift card. No cash will be issued. 
  • Gift cards can be used as part payment with our other accepted payment methods (including Klarna).
