Just the monster as widely boasted
This has been a present my son was longing for. He keeps it on his desk, to make sure it is the first thing he sees when he wakes up. So without even touching, it has already served its purpose for us.
We have given it a few rides over grass, gravel and tarmac, all of which have individually been a joy even just to watch.
A few remarks for those who are just considering to enter the RC hobby car world like us;
If you have a Traxxas Maxx, you will need,
- A strict adult supervision handling the LiPo battery and when children are giving it a go
- A wide field to enjoy it since it is quite fast and powerful
- To keep its distance from people watching since you might easily injure someone
- To try and avoid dogs' attention, they just might ruin your joy
- To be prepared to do lots of cleaning on your Maxx
- Have a decent tool set and a workspace to do necessary maintenance if the need be.
