Following on from the success of the Traxxas TRX-4 Landrover, Traxxas are bringing you a brand new TRX-4 Sport. Outfitted with radically innovative technology, the Traxxas TRX-4 Sport minimises weight to maximise performance. Unlike the TRX-4 Landrover Defender, the TRX-4 boasts single speed transmission that is geared low for the raw torque required to scale the steepest grades.

The TRX-4 Sport combines the unbeatable ground clearance and driving dynamics of Traxxas portal axles, sticky Canyon® Trail tires, and a lightweight pickup truck body for a leaner, performance-focused new TRX-4. The Sport’s unique bumpers, wheels, and body were designed for increased climbing versatility.
Exclusive to the TRX-4 models, portal axles lift the differential pumpkin to provide incredible ground clearance. In order to achieve the same clearance with straight axles, your tires would have to be over an inch taller than the tires on the TRX-4 Sport. This radical design also improves axle geometry and reduces strain on the drive shafts. Steel gears ensure trouble-free performance, no matter how technical the climb.
HV stands for compatibility with the high-voltage 3s LiPo battery packs for greater efficiency and power. In addition to the three standard profiles (Sport, Race, Training Mode®) , the XL-5 HV features a Trail profile that serves up a little bit of drag brake for smooth intuitive driving for most of your adventures. A new Crawl profile introduces hill hold and instant reverse for extremely technical courses. Either will help you navigate with ease.
Torque rules the trail! The TRX-4's massive Titan 21T motor pumps out huge torque to get you up and over anything that gets in the way. An intergrated cooling fan keeps temperatures down for extended run times.
