FTX builds on the success of the hugely popular, entry level Outback trail platform with the Outback Fury 1:10 4WD ready-to-run. The Fury raises the performance level by building on the original Outback’s design. Measuring in at an industry standard 313-320mm wheel base the Fury is ready to accept many of the industries aftermarket bodies, wheel & tyre options. The 3-gear high torque transmission, coupled with a 540 size 20T motor lets you drive the Fury over and up higher and more challenging terrain. The Waterproof 15kg torque metal geared steering servo and Hobbywing speed control are perfectly placed to provide the power and low speed drivability through all conditions, while the larger oil filled shock absorbers and multi-link suspension soak up the terrain.

Using a panhard bar the Fury has the steering servo raised above the front axle and out of sight for a more cleaner, scale appearance. The scale inspired body shell features additional moulded accessories such as front grill, engine cover, fenders, mirrors, wipers and snorkel, finished off with 6 factory installed LED lamps.

With a wide selection of option parts from both FTX and sister brand Fastrax you can transform your rig to new levels of realism as you progress on your trail journey!

Very capable affordable crawler

This is my first RC crawler after having a go with a friends SCX10 mk1 i wanted one of my own. This Fury was a fantastic price for a fantastic spec. We compared the Fury to his SCX10 and mine was as good if not better in some respects. Its got some cheaper components, but upgrading is all part of the fun. But for now I am leaving it as stock.

It's as capable as many more expensive models, i have climbed up some really technical steep climbs and it rips!! The suspension has a huge amount of articulation, the tyres are super grippy and soft. My only critisism is the turning circle isn't great, but nothing that detracts from the car.

Do not be put off by the price.... you will not be dissapointed

Good value basher

The Outback Fury was purchased as a gift for my 12yr old son. The loud Yellow colour hopefully means he can’t lose it! Considering the Fury’s capabilities, it is very good value. I’m happy for my son to learn some lessons and beat this one up given parts ( or full replacement!) isn’t excessive.

I appreciate that this is a lower cost RTR crawler, but one criticism is that the body shell is very light and does rattle about the chassis a lot. Reverse is also very aggressive and could do with being mixed for more controlled movements. Lots of fun will be enjoyed by this funky looking crawler.
