This lightweight 249g drone is truly pocket sized, yet can fly for 30 minutes at a time whilst snapping 2.7k video and 12MP photos with its stablised onboard camera. The Mavic Mini is the ideal drone for families, tourists and other first-time casual users.
Compact and portable
The Mavic mini is small, really small for a drone. At just 140×82×57 mm folded and weighing just 249g, it’s size and weight make it easy to slip in your pocket or handbag, allowing it to travel everywhere you go. Unfolded with the propellers deployed it expands to 245 x 290 x 55 mm. Despite its svelte size, it can fly for up to 30 minutes at a time and hit a staggering 29mph on a still day.

High Quality photos and videos
A compact camera hangs below the craft, capable of snapping 12MP aerial photos and 2.7k Quad HD videos in flight! This camera is mounted to a 3-axis motorised gimbal that allows you to tilt the camera whilst stabilising it for ultra smooth video and sharp photographs.

Safe and simple to fly
This has to be the simplest drone to fly yet! With an array of onboard sensors and a GPS receiver, Mavic Mini is incredibly stable and reliable in flight. Pairing a modern smartphone with the dedicated transmitter will provide the pilot with a real-time HD ‘live view’ from the onboard drone camera via a wifi-link. This compact controller is of a similar size to the aircraft, the control sticks unscrewing and safely stowing should you wish to pocket it.

Whilst an Android or iOS smartphone is required to register the device for its first flight, the drone can be flown with just the included transmitter. Optional propeller guards are available should you wish to fly the drone indoors.
Advanced Autopilot
Mavic Mini’s advanced autopilot features enable you to create stunning shots with minimal experience. Dronie, Rocket, Circle and Helix can be activated, the drone flying itself whilst keeping the selected subject in view, resulting in professional looking video clips downloaded directly to your phone in seconds. Want to get more hands-on? Enable the cinesmooth flight mode for precise flying; Ideal for navigating tight corridors and complex environments with hollywood-style stability.

Simple recording and editing
Use the free DJI Fly app to quickly edit your videos and photos. Pre-made templates generate fantastic videos at the tap of a finger that can be shared directly to your social media account. Note that a micro-SD card required for media capture is not included.

‘Free’ to fly in the UK
Unlike many of our other drones, thanks to its featherweight 249g mass, you are not required to pay to register as a drone operator and display an ID on the craft. We recommend that any prospective pilot gains a free Flyer ID and familiarise themselves with the law. Please fly safely and responsibly! You can learn more about UK drone legislation here.
